How the Sun Loved the Moon at the QYO Finale Concert, QPAC 2015.

On Saturday October 31st 2015, Queensland Youth Orchestras presented their Finale concert for 2015 at the QPAC Concert Hall. All seven ensembles performed works presenting a lively and varied program. I was lucky enough to have my work 'How the Sun Loved the Moon' featured in the performance of the Junior String Ensemble conducted by Chen Yang. It's always exciting to see the next generation of young of musicians excelling at their art and exploring new music.
I had wonderful feedback from audience members who felt they connected emotionally to my work. I think this is one of the highest compliments I could receive. If I can some how stir the emotions of a complete stranger from listening to my music, then I know they have some how tapped into my own emotion which I weave into my music.
